System 2000

     Carriers are designed to take advantage of the short (12”) McDonald SYSTEM 2000 for use in drill stem tests, tubing conveyed perforating tests, above and below packer, surge tool testing and similar tasks.  The Carriers are fully concentric and will run in 5 inch and larger casings. They are small and light enough to be carried by two men and transported via helicopter.

COIL TUBING GAUGE CARRIER
 

For Use With

Pressure and Temperature Memory Recorder 

System 2000

 
  This tool is used to run a System 2000 Pressure and Temperature Memory Recorder in conjunction with coil tubing.  The Gauge is secured in a 17-4 stainless steel housing which has an approximate 1-inch pump by-pass port.  The System 2000 reads pressure internal or via a side port away from the turbulence created by pumping.  Carriers can be stacked if more than one gauge is desired.

This tool is designed to allow the use of a System 2000 Pressure and Temperature Memory Recorder in conjunction with Electric-Line Perforating.  The Electronic Memory Recorder is protected by an internal shock mounting system.  The electrical by pass is achieved using and insolated single conductor which is similar to tying an E-Line rope socket.  Carriers can be stacked if more than one gauge is desired.
